The Sacrament Of Confirmation

“And it is God who establishes us with you in Christ, and has anointed us, and who has also put his seal on us and given us his Spirit in our hearts as a guarantee.”  2 Corinthians 1:21-22

The Sacrament of Confirmation is the second of the Sacraments of Initiation. The Sacrament of Confirmation imparts spiritual growth and strengthens Baptismal grace. Like Baptism, it is received only once, strengthening our bond with the Church and conferring a special strength from the Holy Spirit to help us bear witness to the Christian faith in word and deed as true witnesses of Christ.

Confirmation for High School

The confirmation program for High School students starts in January and ends with the Sacrament of Confirmation.

Confirmation for adults

If you are an adult and have been baptized and received your First Holy Communion, but have yet to receive the Sacrament of Confirmation, please call the parish office to schedule an appointment to discuss how to receive the Sacrament of Confirmation. Adults prepare for Confirmation by entering a program called the Rite for the Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA). This program is offered each year beginning in September, ending after Easter.
